By integrating Chief’s TPIX with Genie Networks’ traffic analysis solution, we have achieved predictive forecasting and optimized management of customer demands, enabling us to deliver more precise network services.
Furthermore, Chief partnered with GCS and GMI Cloud to accelerate the development of AI Cloud Computing in Asia. By leveraging the robust data center infrastructure, GCS’s cloud expertise, and GMI Cloud’s GPU computing capabilities, Chief has enhanced its comprehensive capabilities in cloud computing, AI computing, and big data. The tripartite alliance deliver cutting-edge AI cloud computing services tailored for the Asian market, offering enterprises diverse, flexible and reliable solutions.
Zettabyte, a leading AI data center technology provider, recently announced a strategic partnership with Chief Telecom and Wistron Corp., a leader in GPU server manufacturing, to build Taiwan’s first hyperscale AI data center. By securing significant power capacity at Chief Telecom’s LY2 data center, Zettabyte aims to set new standards in AI computing efficiency and sustainability. Wistron’s high-performance, energy-efficient configurations will be integrated with Zettabyte’s liquid cooling at LY2, ensuring top-notch performance and efficiency. The advanced AI services set to launch in 2025. With the tripartite collaboration, Zettabyte will be the preferred choice for high-performance AI solutions.
As Taiwan’s primary Internet Exchange Center, TPIX has made significant strides this year by partnering with AMS-IX (Amsterdam Internet Exchange) based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and HGC Global Communications (HGC), a renowned telecommunications operator in Asia. This collaboration has created a synergistic effect greater than the sum of its parts.
Enhancing Global Expansion and Accelerating the Development of Taiwan’s AI Ecosystem
In collaboration with DE-CIX, Chief has further strengthened its role, allowing Chief’s customers to benefit from the neutral and global DE-CIX ecosystem that offers peering, cloud, and other interconnection services. This alliance aims to create a global network ecosystem by sharing Southeast Asian internet resources. In addition to DE-CIX and AMS-IX, Chief’s global expansion includes partnerships with Equinix EIX in Hong Kong and JPIX, as well as SGIX. These efforts are part of an active strategy to build a more comprehensive global network ecosystem.
With the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence across industries, the demand for high-performance computing power is rapidly increasing. In response, Chief has strategically partnered with Supermicro and ENLight to establish Taiwan’s AI Computing Center (AICC). AICC will be “the first in Asia” to use Nvidia’s advanced H200 AI chips, positioning Taiwan as a crucial hub for global AI computing power and providing robust AI infrastructures to enterprises.
Chief LY2 AI Data Center officially began commercial operation this year. Riding the strong wave of AI advancements, LY2, currently, has a sales rate exceeding 70%. The LY2 data center is a cornerstone of the future digital economy, providing more advanced and efficient services to global clients.
To meet customers’ demands for high-speed bandwidth, Chief is actively expanding international bandwidth, and the global internet backbones currently have scaled to over 1200G. Additionally, Chief’s Three Rings and Three Lines aims to connect Taiwan’s western tech corridor through a nationwide fiber optic network, linking the major science parks in Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, which allows corporate clients to reach Chief’s data centers with the shortest distance, fastest speed, and lowest cost. This also enables clients to enjoy fast and convenient services of telecommunication, internet, cloud-based applications, and AI computing, further promoting Chief Telecom as the digital convergence hub of East Asia.
