Chief Telecom today announced record-breaking financial results for the first half of 2025, with revenue of NT$2.08 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$8.24. These strong results demonstrate the company’s robust revenue and profit growth momentum, and reaffirm its market leadership. Mr. Jerry Shao, Chairman of Chief Telecom, also announced the launch of Taiwan’s premier AI infrastructure ready-to-use liquid-cooled solution. This initiative positions Chief Telecom to aggressively capitalize on the immense demand for data centers driven by the AI era, while also accelerating opportunities for businesses to access new AI computing power.
Chief Telecom reported strong financial performance for the first half of 2025, with revenue reaching NT$2.08 billion. This represents an 18.7% increase from NT$1.75 billion during the same period last year. Earnings per share (EPS) also saw a significant jump, rising 28.5% from NT$6.41 to NT$8.24. The gross profit margin improved to 55.1% in the first half of the year, a 15.7% increase from the previous year. This notable growth in profitability indicates that the AI data center business is becoming a major driver of the company’s overall success.
In a statement, Chairman Jerry Shao said, “The rapid advancement of AI technology has significantly increased the demand for power and cooling for high-end GPU servers, making it difficult for traditional data centers to keep up. The substantial investment in AI infrastructure also requires comprehensive support for water, electricity, fire prevention, seismic protection, security, and professional data center management. Chief Telecom’s solid financial results reflect the strong position in the AI and digital convergence sectors, aligning with the steady growth of the global AI market. Our management team is confident in our full-year revenue and profitability, and we will continue our efforts to achieve even greater success.”
Mr. Johnny Liu, President of Chief Telecom, highlighted the critical need for liquid-cooled environments for high-end AI servers like the GB200 and GB300 models, noting the current scarcity of such facilities in the market. He stated that Chief Telecom’s AI Data Center (LY2) has been strategically planning for some time to meet the three critical technical requirements of liquid cooling, high power, and high load capacity, allowing it to provide the fastest and most stable AI infrastructures. Furthermore, the newly launched “International-Grade AI Infrastructure Ready-to-Use Liquid-Cooled Solution” is the best choice for businesses looking to enter the AI services and applications market.
The new “ready-to-use” service offers an immediate solution for businesses. The key benefit is the ability to “move in now.” Companies can simply bring their AI servers and move into a liquid-cooled data center with high-density racks of 80kW to 150kW. This eliminates the lengthy design and construction phases associated with traditional data center builds.
Additionally, this service provides a direct connection to the TPIX (Taipei Internet Exchange), the largest internet exchange center in Taiwan, enabling businesses to connect with the global network instantly. As of mid-July, TPIX had 207 members, ranking it 65th worldwide.
Johnny Liu pointed out that LY2 provides a superior AI infrastructure with its core advantages of “Three Highs and Three Speeds.” These advantages ensure clients have access to a top-tier AI computing environment.
Three Highs:
- High Power Capacity: Supports customized high-power racks, meeting client needs from 10KW to 150KW.
- High Load-Bearing Capacity: Features advanced architectural design with seismic isolation and green building certifications. The floor loading capacity of 2,000kg per square meter can easily accommodate single cabinets weighing up to 1500 to 1,800kg.
- High Heat Dissipation: Supports advanced cooling solutions (air-cooled and liquid-cooled) to effectively managing heat to ensure stable AI server operation.
Three Speeds:
- Fast Deployment: Clients can activate their services within two weeks.
- Fast Connectivity: Offers high-speed network connections and cloud exchange services.
- Fast Service: A dedicated professional team provides instant, efficient technical support and data center management services.
Since its launch, LY2 has attracted major international CSPs, computing service providers, and financial and cloud service companies. In response to the massive demand for AI-driven data centers, Chief Telecom will continue to proactively deploy innovative services, steadily fulfilling its role as Taiwan’s digital convergence hub and ensure it is well-prepared to expand into the next wave of AI applications.
