Personal Information Protection

  1. To implement the protection and management of your personal data and comply with the request of the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) and Enforcement Rules of the Personal Data Protection Act, Chief Telecom Inc. (“Chief”) hereby stipulate the Personal Data Protection Policy (“the Policy”) and the Personal Data Protection Regulation in accordance with the Policy.
  2. The collection, processing and use of your personal data by Chief must comply with the provisions of PDPA, collect the minimum and necessary personal data for legitimate purposes, and process relevant and appropriate personal data within the required scope.
  3. Chief’s Personal Data Protection Regulation has been incorporated into each applicable operational business, contract, and internal regulatory requirement to comply with the Personal Data Protection and Business Continuity Plan Objects.
  4. The scope of Chief’s Personal Data Protection Regulation covers customers, manufacturers and company personnel, information, hardware/ software equipment, and related services involved in each applicable operational business.
  5. Partners of Chief have also acknowledged Chief’s standards for managing and maintaining personal data and specified each party’s responsibilities and obligations in the contract.
  6. The scope and classification of personal data collected, processed or utilized by Chief shall be limited to those notified to the parties by Chief in accordance with the law. The specific purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data by Chief shall be limited to those notified to the parties by Chief in accordance with the law.
  7. Chief shall abide by the applicable statutes and relevant regulations of the company when dealing with your personal data.
  8. When the personal data is suspected of being stolen, leaked, altered, or other breached, Chief shall, in accordance with the relevant regulations in applicable statutes and Chief’s Emergency Response Plan, handle such affair as soon as possible in order to prevent the security incident from expanding. Afterward, Chief shall collect relevant information, take measures to prevent the incident from recurring, and establish the improvement measures for continuous improvement.
  9. The policy is announced to take effect after approval by the Chairman of the Board, and the same shall apply to any amendment thereto.
