Announcement of Chief IDC Access Restriction During COVID-19

Due to the continued severity of COVID-19 epidemic, Chief IDC will take more stringent epidemic control measures to reduce the risk of infection. Please kindly understand and comply with the control related measures. If it is not mission-critical, please avoid entering the IDC, or use remote hand operation for maintenance if possible.

Certificates or records of at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccination are required for entering Chief IDC and this requirement will be effective immediately.

Furthermore, the following Chief IDC access regulation will be effective from 12:00 am on January 24, 2022. The date and time of implementation will be adjusted at any time according to the changes of the epidemic situation. Please visit Chief Telecom’s website constantly for the most-updated information.

The control measures are listed below.

• In addition to temperature measurement and disinfection when entering the IDC, visitors would be required to register their names for access application. Furthermore, the crowd control would be strictly implemented to prevent crowd gathering.
• If there are more than one IDC buildings that need to be entered, please designate certain personnel to each IDC. The same personnel/operator is not allowed to enter other Chief’s IDC buildings within two week (14 days), which is to avoid increased risk of infection due to personnel movement across IDC buildings.
• For IDC access application, please make sure to apply in advance via e-mail and get approval at least 4 hours before entering IDC building, and inform the numbers of applicants, visiting schedule and estimated working hours for arrangement. (If emergency maintenance is needed, it will be handled separately.)
• The parcels would be disinfected outdoors and then delivered to each floor by Chief IDC staff.
