Chief Telecom Clarification Statement Regarding Media Reports

Regarding the authorities’ visit on June 29 to investigate a data center colocation customer’s suspected illegal export of AI equipment, Chief Telecom strictly adheres to government regulations and is fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation. Currently, all company’s operations remain completely normal, and this incident has no material adverse impact on the company’s financial or business performance. Chief Telecom hereby issues this solemn statement to clarify the facts and safeguard the rights and interests of our shareholders.
To ensure full transparency under our corporate governance principles, Chief Telecom will proactively initiate both internal and external investigation mechanisms. Any personnel found involved in illegal activities will face severe disciplinary action. Furthermore, pursuant to our published “Special Regulations for AI Data Center Equipment Management” (Note), we will continue to actively monitor for any anomalous activities by customers. If any customer engages in illegal acts, we will, in accordance with our legal compliance obligations and contractual agreements, immediately report the matter to relevant government authorities and fully cooperate with the ongoing judicial investigation.
We solemnly reiterate that Chief Telecom’s services have never been involved in any illegal activities, a fact that is well-recognized within the industry. We have always upheld the highest standards of corporate integrity. We will fully cooperate with the investigative authorities and look forward to a swift clarification of the facts. Please be advised that we will take immediate legal action against any false or malicious media reports published during this investigation period to protect our corporate reputation and our shareholders’ rights.
