Announcement of Chief IDC Access Restriction During COVID-19 Level 3 Epidemic Alert

Due to the continued severity of COVID-19 epidemic, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that epidemic restrictions in Taipei City had been raised to Level 3. In compliance with the pandemic-prevention policies, Chief IDC access control will be also raised in response to Level 3 epidemic prevention measures to reduce the possibility of infection. Hence, in order to maintain the safety and rights of IDC and customers, please kindly understand and comply with the control related measures. If it is not necessary for operation and maintenance, please avoid entering IDC, or use remote hand operation for maintenance as possible during the effective period of the nationwide Level 3 epidemic alert.

The control implementation is listed below.

• In addition to temperature measurement and disinfection when entering IDC, visitors would be required to register their names for access application. Further, the crowd control would be strictly implemented to prevent crowd gathering.
• Applicants are limited as registered personnel for IDC access; the same personnel/operator is not allowed to enter other Chief’s IDC buildings within a week (7 days), which is to avoid increased risk of infection due to personnel movement across IDC buildings.
• For IDC access application, make sure to apply in advance via e-mail and get approval at least 4 hours before entering IDC building, and inform the numbers of applicants, visiting schedule and estimated working hours for arrangement. (If emergency maintenance is needed, it will be handled separately)
• The parcels would be disinfected outdoors and then delivered to each floor by Chief IDC staff.
